This winter, Chadstone becomes the stage for Lost & Found—CJ Hendry’s latest large-scale exhibition. It is here, where art, play, and perception meet in unexpected ways. To mark the opening night, floral installations will bloom briefly throughout the centre; offering a fleeting moment of softness, contrast, and wonder.
From oversized mazes to collectible keys and interactive activities, Lost & Found transforms Chadstone into a living, breathing artwork—one that invites guests to not only observe but also explore and engage.
Asked to create florals in dialogue with Hendry’s hyperreal
world, we approached each opening night installation as a point of connection—ephemeral gestures that respond to a surreal landscape. These weren’t literal interpretations, but abstract compositions designed to echo and interrupt. Some soothed, some surprised. All invited reflection.
