We were first contacted by Chadstone in March 2023, and have worked tirelessly since then to bring this vision to life.
It has been a dream of Cherrie’s for over 35 years to see Flowers Vasette bloom beyond Fitzroy, into a space that mirrors the beauty and spirit of our craft.
For this space, we had the pleasure of collaborating with the internationally renowned Flynn Studio to craft a design of quiet elegance.
Several key elements define the space—designed to be both fresh and true to the core ethos of Vasette.
Beginning with the one-of-a-kind brass door handles, crafted by Suzie Stanford, which have been carried over from our Fitzroy flagship to weave our heritage into the new space.
The reflective chrome lily pad at the centre of the ceiling mirrors the surrounding floral hues, creating a radiant wheel of colour.
Chrome benches and interiors add depth; playing with light and shadow to enhance the atmosphere.
The Avocatus Quartzite wall encircles the centre; grounding the space with its rich, natural presence, bringing balance and tranquility.
Finally, the Vasette ribbon gracefully enveloping the glass is like a delicate gift, tying the space together with elegance.
We envisioned our space as a floral sanctuary amidst the daily hustle—a place to pause and smell the roses, whether between meetings, during a quick lunch break, or on your way home.
